ēma was created by three friends, Maia Neumann, Daniela Devitt, and Dawn Hoenie, who share a love for perfume but grew frustrated by how complicated, expensive, and harsh traditional fragrances had become. After dealing with skin allergies, post-COVID scent sensitivities, and hormonal changes that altered how they experienced smell, they wanted something gentle and simple. They wanted a perfume that smelled beautiful without triggering headaches or irritation.
The result is ēma, a customizable, alcohol-free fragrance that feels good on skin and lasts. Each solid perfume is made with just a few premium ingredients and is designed to be layered and personal.
